    Join us for a series of free lectures Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. All sessions take place in Stedman Lecture Hall "A".

    Jan. 15-29. Professor emeritus Jack Granatstein lectures on "Three Prime Ministers and the Canada they Made." Jan. 15 William Lyon Mackenzie King; Jan.22 John Diefenbaker; Jan. 29 Lester B. Pearson.

    Feb. 5-12. Department of Theatre professor Judith Rudakoff. Feb. 5 "I am a War, My Voice is a Weapon." Feb. 12 "Re/calling the Wild."

    Feb. 26. Humanities professor Susan Swan lectures on "The Burden of Adjustment ­ or Why We Sometimes Put up with Racist/Sexist Art."

    March 5 - 19. Biology professor Dawn Bazely lectures. March 5 "The Smart Vegetarian." March 12 "Plant Defences." March 19 "Overpopulation."

    March 26. Music professor Rob Bowman lectures on "Bing Crosby, Otis Redding, 'Try a Little Tenderness' and the Location of Meaning in Music."

    The series is arranged by York's Centre for the Support of Teaching.
