The lost and found at York.

Keele Campus: it's at the Security and Information Desk in the link between Vari Hall and Ross/Central Square.
Note that each campus building has a temporary storage area for lost items. Ask the cleaner or supervisor to check there since articles in these areas are often not transfered to the main Lost & Found!

Glendon Campus: it's at the Security Office located in the Glendon Greenhouse. More info can be found at York's Lost & Found page.

Where do I find exams for, say, the past 5 years?

Exams from previous years can be a helpful resource in exam preparation and studying, but they can sometimes be extremely difficult to find. The YFS office has a collection of previous years' Schulich exams available to be perused or copied by interested students. The ASA office has a variety of Atkinson Administrative Studies exams available, and though they are trying to update them they are a bit out of date with not many more recent than 2001. ASA also has a limited number of other non-ADMS Atkinson faculty exams available. Beyond YFS and ASA, I would recommend talking to the professor, and / or the department in question. Keep in mind that some professors and some entire departments have policies preventing them from disseminating previous years' exams, such as the Psychology Department. If none of those options are fruitful, try contacting the academic clubs that have similar interests to the courses in question. Clubs like York's undergraduate math club have past years' math exams available. See Student Clubs & Organizations for a list of York clubs. Good luck to those seeking past exams.

Where can I find information about health insurance plans?

Information about the different heath insurance plans can be found at: Help with first year: health plan
If you have alternate coverage you may want to opt out before the deadline of your particular facultys' group plan. This applies every year since health plans are automatically included in your tuition. You may want to add family members to your coverage, if so the same deadlines apply!

Note: If you are on a reduced courseload. You might not be enrolled with any insurance plan, contact YFS or other group that is handling health coverage for your college! If you are a student with a disability, get a letter from your counsillor to present to YFS.
