Clinic Fees
Psychological Assessments
YUPC charges a flat rate for psychological assessments. This fee is $1800.00. The assessment process consists of:
- an initial consultation interview to determine the type of test administration required;
- administration of psychological tests;
- feedback session;
- completion of written report.
The fee is paid in three installments: $200 for the initial consultation; $1200 to complete the testing; $400 for the feedback session and completion of the written report. A receipt will be provided for every payment made, which you can then submit to insurance carriers for reimbursement if your policy covers psychological services. Please note that many individuals have some coverage under their work insurance policies for psychological services.
Treatment Services
YUPC provides a detailed diagnostic consultation prior to beginning psychotherapy. This consultation enables the clinic to determine the best course of treatment. While this assessment typically takes approximately 2 - 3 hrs to complete, the fee for this complete service is just $200.00.
After we provide treatment recommendations, including an estimate of the number of sessions we recommend, the hourly fee for therapy is $150.00. You will then be expected to pay that fee at each session by cheque made out to York University or credit card (we cannot accept cash or debit payments). A receipt will be provided for every payment made, which you can then submit to insurance carriers for reimbursement if your workplace has extended health benefits that cover psychological services. Please note that many individuals have some coverage through their extended health benefits for psychological services. Please also note that we cannot accept payment in advance for therapy.
