Welcome to the Bee Gallery!

I have been studying bees and their genetics since 1999. There are approximately 20,000 different species of bees.. some are solitary, some are social.. some big, some small.. some nest in the ground, others nest in wood.. some make honey, but most do not. All are beautiful! This website contains most of my bee pictures. The pictures are organized taxonomically and are easily navigated from the Gallery link.
