{"id":8766,"date":"2016-04-11T08:30:47","date_gmt":"2016-04-11T12:30:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/advancement.yorku.ca\/?p=8766"},"modified":"2016-04-11T08:30:47","modified_gmt":"2016-04-11T12:30:47","slug":"introducing-new-presidents-blog-and-kudos-report-online-submission-form","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/alumniandfriends\/2016\/04\/introducing-new-presidents-blog-and-kudos-report-online-submission-form\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing new President's Blog and Kudos Report online submission form"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of the President is launching two new engagement initiatives \u2013 a new blog for York University President and Vice-Chancellor Mamdouh Shoukri, and an online submission form where all community members can provide input to the University-wide <a href=\"http:\/\/president.blog.yorku.ca\/kudos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kudos Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/yfile.news.yorku.ca\/files\/2016\/04\/Blog_Promo_FB_LN.jpg\" alt=\"Blog_Promo_FB_LN\" width=\"440\" height=\"240\" \/>Shoukri will post regular updates on his blog about the York community, including campus events, activities and initiatives, as well as provide personal insights into his experiences as president.<\/p>\n<p>The blog will also be the new home of the Kudos Report that is produced monthly during the school year by the Office of the President. This report is shared with members of the University Senate and Board of Governors for their meetings, as well as on social media, as a platform to celebrate and promote the many accomplishments, successes and contributions of the University community.<\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with the launch of Shoukri\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/president.blog.yorku.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new blog<\/a>, the Office of the President is launching a new <a href=\"http:\/\/president.yorku.ca\/kudos-submission-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kudos Report online submission form<\/a>. All York community members are invited to submit details about the achievements of individuals or groups among York staff, faculty, students and alumni using this new e-form.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am glad to be launching this blog, as I see it as another way to connect with the York community and to share the many positive things happening on campus,\u201d said Shoukri. \u201cWe know that our community is creating, helping and innovating at a remarkable rate and in truly inspiring \u2013 and surprising \u2013 ways. And so, I am also looking forward to hearing from our community through the new Kudos Report online submission form.
