Updates for International Students

Updates for International Students

In a recent community update, our President shared the news that we are actively planning additional on-campus learning opportunities this Fall while access to high-quality remote learning also continues.  We can confirm that international tuition fees will not increase for Fall/Winter 2021-2022. Additional details will follow shortly.

Whether you join us on or off campus, York International and all of our support services continue to be available to assist your academic and social wellbeing.

Study Permit

Don’t forget to make sure your study permit and passport are still valid.  If you’re planning on travelling, check and confirm your temporary resident visa (TRV) or electronic travel authorization (eTA) are up to date. Questions about renewing your study permit or other immigration related topics?  Book an appointment with an International Student Advisor or email York International at iadvisor@yorku.ca.

Quarantine Accommodations

  • All international travellers arriving in Canada are required to do a 14-day mandatory quarantineincluding a 3-day stay at a federally approved hotel. York University has a comprehensive quarantine program for international students. If you are joining us on campus in Canada this Fall, we are here to support you with accommodations at federally approved hotels, meal plans and wellness checks during your arrival period.
