As we communicated earlier, York University is currently planning to offer up to 50% of courses in-person for the Fall 2021 term and a full return in Winter 2022. Current indications, such as an accelerated COVID-19 vaccine roll-out across Canada, support increasing in-person learning and co-curricular opportunities on our campuses.  

To better plan our services and supports for international students, including quarantine supports, please complete the International Student Location Confirmation form by June 15.

As you make plans for the Summer and Fall terms, we want to make sure you know that York will continue to provide a free quarantine program for new and continuing international students who are entering Canada for the first time since August 2020. Supports, services, events and programs will continue to be offered online for those who are not yet able to travel to Canada. While we are excited to have these in-person offerings in the Fall, we will still provide access to a high-quality remote learning experience, and we are committed to providing support and resources for you to maximize your success. 

International students are also eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines free of charge in Ontario.
