IMMEDIATE ACTION: Reminder to upload proof of vaccination (October 26, 2021)

IMMEDIATE ACTION: Reminder to upload proof of vaccination (October 26, 2021)

As part of York University’s efforts to keep our community safe and healthy, we released our Vaccination Mandate on September 3, with clear instructions to students attending on-campus in the Fall term to disclose vaccination status by October 5, 2021 as well as the final deadline for being fully vaccinated by October 19, 2021. Please refer to the communication of September 3 and the key date reminder of September 28

All students seeking access to campus/attending in-person courses this fall 2021 for any reason (attending in-person classes, using the library or study spaces, using the gym/participating in sports, living in residence, etc.) must upload proof you are fully vaccinated to YU Screen no later than Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. EDT

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED!
Our records show that you appear to be registered in in-person courses or on-campus activities for Fall 2021, but have not yet disclosed your vaccination status.

To ensure that we have the most accurate information to meet Ontario Ministry of Health guidelines, you must immediately upload your vaccination status to YU Screen TODAY

In addition, we request that all registered students, whether or not you are accessing campus/attending in-person in Fall 2021, access YU Screen to disclose your vaccination status at this time. Proof of vaccination status includes: unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, fully vaccinated or seeking an exemption from vaccination.

You may not come on campus as of October 19 if you have not uploaded proof of full vaccination and risk de-enrolment from in-person courses. If you are living in residence, you may not enter other campus buildings.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Please ensure that you read the communications sent to you on September 30, 2021 as there is new guidance for non-Health Canada approved vaccines and what it means to be considered fully vaccinated.

If you have questions about vaccines, vaccination or the Vaccination Mandate, visit the Better Together site and review the FAQs.
