This session provides co-op specific résumé and cover letter writing techniques, including:
- Showcasing your school projects and assignments as practical experience.
- Clearly demonstrating your fit for the co-op position and employer.
- preparing additional application documents such as an unofficial transcript.
Also, receive tips and advice on how to search the co-op job board effectively to maximize opportunities and get answers to industry-specific questions.

If you cannot attend an upcoming Perfecting Your Internship Résumé & Cover Letter workshop:
Students who are not able to attend one of the scheduled Perfecting Your Internship Résumé & Cover Letter workshops may attend the Career Centre's Résumé & Cover Letter Writing workshop instead. This workshop is offered as part of the Career Centre's regular schedule. Students who choose this option must inform the Recruitment & Job Search Coordinator via email (yueehub@yorku.ca) to provide the date of the alternate workshop attended. Please include "Substituting workshop for Perfecting Your Internship Résumé & Cover Letter" in the subject line.
