Kinesiology and Psychology, 2015

Prakash is a Senior Facilitator within the Learning and Development department of TD Bank's corporate office. Outside of work, he sits on the Boards of the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education, and Crow's Theatre. In addition, he successfully advocated for financial literacy to be incorporated into the mandatory Grade 10 Careers course across Ontario; this was implemented into the Grade 10 curriculum in 2019.

At York, Prakash was the President and Founder of Doctors Without Borders York (3 years), President of the Salsa Club at York (4 years), Vice-Chair of the Community Safety Council (2 years), and member of the working group that developed York's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Policy. He was also an Orientation Team Leader at Bethune College (3 years), a Student Health Ambassador (SHAY), a member of the Advisory Committee for the Faculty of Health's 'Agents of Change' Program, and worked as the New Student Transition Coordinator for Stong and Calumet Colleges. Lastly, he was a Student Senator representing the Faculty of Health during his final year.

“Bethune is where I made many of the friends that I continue to stay connected with to this day. The college provided me the environment to study within its study halls, while also allowing me the freedom and space to develop my social and friendship connections. My Orientation experiences, as a first year and as a Team Leader, are some of my fondest memories, and the college supported some of the unique community-building events that I had in mind at the time, including the Breaking Bad Finale watch party that I spontaneously hosted to a full house back in 2015.”
