Peer Mentor Program

Have a question about your studies or campus life? Need some tips on writing an essay or giving a presentation? Can't figure out how to join an on-campus gym? Connect with a high-achieving upper-year student to get reliable program-specific advice, support for your personal goals and other assistance throughout the year.

The Peer Mentor program aims to enhance your learning experience, foster your community engagement and help ensure your successful transition to university life. Peer Mentors provide essential information and help you access opportunities to engage with the college community. Their knowledge will help you develop the skills you need to achieve your personal goals and succeed in your degree.

Academic Workshops & Study Groups

Throughout the year, Peer Mentors also organize academic workshops, information sessions and study groups to help you at every phase of your studies.

Seeking a Peer Mentor?

All incoming first-year students are automatically partnered with a Peer Mentor by September. However, all Founders students, regardless of their year of study can access the Peer Mentor Program for assistance. When on campus, simply the Peer Mentor office at Central PARC (102 Founders) – no appointment required – or email your question to (only Founders College office staff and our Peer Mentor Coordinators will see your question).

If you are not able to be on campus, don't worry as our Peer Mentors are also holding virtual office hours through the Founders 101 eClass page.

If you are a second, third or even fourth year student looking for more in-depth support, click on the "Find Your Peer Mentor Now" button below to be partnered with a Peer Mentor for ongoing help throughout the term.
