Develop valuable public speaking skills by becoming a classroom reporter. Twice a month, you’ll spend a few minutes during class reporting on the exciting events in the New College community. The details are gathered for you–your job is to present them in a compelling way.
Nervous about public speaking? All Classroom Reporters attend a training session where we’ll teach you tricks to stay calm and relaxed.
Previous volunteers have been hired specifically because their employer was impressed to see they had presentation experience. At the end of the term, you’ll receive a certificate to add to your employment portfolio.
How do I apply?
Recruitment takes place the month before the start of each new term. An email outlining deadlines and application instructions is sent to all New College students. If you're not receiving these emails and would like to be added to our list, contact email@example.com.
