The Planetary Health Film Lab Micro Film Festival

This one-hour event will showcase four short films made by Indigenous youth who participated in this year's edition of The Planetary Health Film Lab, hosted by the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research. Each film runs between three and seven minutes in length and profiles Indigenous perspectives, impacts, and solutions to planetary health issues in their communities. The films being screened this year are:
- “Adikameg and Ice”, by Christopher Akiwenzie (Neyaashiinigmiing, Ontario)
- “In the Future, That’s What’s Going to Happen, I Think”, by Jessie Yakeleya (Tulita, Northwest Territories)
- “Will There Be Another Rainy Day?”, by Emily McCallum (Barrie, Ontario)
- "The Price of Gold" by Serra Black (Yellowknife, Northwest Territories)
All four films will be screened consecutively. Following the screening, the filmmakers will be available to answer questions from the audience.
