Anna Yang is a Health Studies undergraduate student at York University, pursuing a Specialized Honors degree in Health Policy, Management & Digital Health, focuses on addressing climate crisis and promoting global health equity. She is a part-time Social Media Coordinator for the BioCAM4 project at the Dahdaleh Institute for Global Health Research under the supervision of Principal Investigator Prof. Idil Boran.
BioCAM4 addresses a critical global gap of the disconnect between climate action and biodiversity protection in the frameworks by developing methodologies to map, evaluate and scale Nature-Based Climate Actions (NBCAs). Working across East Africa and Central America, BioCAM4 engages both academics and policymakers to co-design comprehensive solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, safeguard ecosystems, and improve public health outcomes.
By supporting BioCAM4's knowledge mobilization and promoting BioCAM4’s mission to the public, she collaborates with the project manager and the broader team to develop and execute the project’s social media strategy, translating technical research into accessible, audience-specific content.
