Deadline: December 16, 2022<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send your 500 word abstract to <a href=\"mailto:maysa19@yorku.ca\">Maissaa Almustafa<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stigma and Mental Health in Infectious Disease<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Guest edited by Dahdaleh Institute faculty fellow <strong>Amrita Daftary<\/strong> and Dr. Jeremiah Chikovore (Human Sciences Research Council, South Africa), this call for the new journal BMC Global and Public Health aims to capture global efforts and novel approaches such as associations between infectious disease stigma and mental health; resilience or quality of life interventions; novel intervention approaches and methods; intersectionality of stigma and mental health with race, gender, class; novel data collection\/evaluation tools; and approaches to reduce structural drivers of stigma.
