The Ontario government has unveiled its plan to get math grades up in schools across the province. But a new curriculum to be delivered in September is something that experts say is a tall order considering the current circumstances.
Assistant Professor Tina Rapke at York University's Faculty of Education says, "I am a little bit concerned about when it's being implemented because of the current stress of the COVID-19 pandemic.” Along with other experts she wonders how the curriculum will be put together for the new school year.
