The Disrupting Early Childhood Lecture Series
The Disrupting Early Childhood Lecture Series (York University) together with The Interdisciplinary Centre for Research in Curriculum (Western University) and The Pedagogist Network of Ontario invites you to join a dialogue that engages questions related to pedagogy, emergence, materialities, and corporalities in education.
Against a scenario in which educational experiences are increasingly validated through the logics of neoliberal capitalism—with its managerial, individualistic, standardized, and evidence-based orientations—this lecture series invites guest speakers to explore possible reciprocal interconnections, and their creation, as we seek to create a space for dialogue across contexts, to consider each other’s perspectives, and bring forth novel reflections on what constitutes an educational experience.
