International Practicum Placement (IPP)
Each year, students in the Bachelor of Education (BEd) program can apply for the opportunity to participate to complete a teaching placement in an international location, in addition to practicum completed in an Ontario school.
- These teaching placements take place for the entire month of May
- Placements are to schools in Kenya or Nicaragua
- Applications to participate in this opportunity are released in the fall – usually in October. Contact the Practicum Office for details!
Participation can count towards the International Specialization.
Summer Internships - International
York University students may be eligible to complete a summer internship through York International. Apply directly in order to participate!
Participation can count towards the International Specialization.
There may be funding available to help students to offset the cost of participating in international opportunities!
