Faculty of Education Professor and Jean Augustine Chair in Education, Community and Diaspora.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the reason why parents need to talk to their children to help them understand what is happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cWhite families, non-Black families and Black families all need to help their children interpret what is going on around them and the role that
