Request a Food Truck for your event!
Are you a part of the York U community and want to book a food truck for an upcoming event? Food Services can help you secure a truck.
How To Request a Food Truck
1) York University Food Truck Regulations
Please review the regulations to ensure that you have full understanding of the procedure before you submit your request.
2) Contact Us
Please email food@yorku.ca for a full list of approved vendors. You must submit your request no later than 10 business days prior to your scheduled event. We will assist in securing an appropriate location for the truck to park.
From the approved list, please contact the trucks directly to confirm your date and time.
3) Approval
Once you have confirmed with the truck, you will need to submit a Temporary Use of University Space (TUUS) application.

4) Fee
The fee for each truck is $100 and includes a parking pass. This is payable by either your group or negotiated with the truck directly. Payment can be made by cheque to York University, cash or budget number.
5) Confirmation
Once your TUUS application has been approved and fee paid, you can pick up the parking pass for the truck the day of your event from Food Services Office in 200 William Small Centre.
