I cannot see my Moodle/eClass course. How do I gain access?

I cannot see my Moodle/eClass course. How do I gain access?

There may be several reasons for not being able to see a course online.

  • Ensure you are looking at the correct instance of eClass. As of August 28, 2020 all online courses taught at Glendon are being moved to the Central UIT Managed eclass.yorku.ca
    • The Masters of Conference Interpreting program courses will remain on Eclass for Summer 2020. To access Eclass go to eclass.glendon.yorku.ca
    • The professor has turned off visibility to the course. In this case, please email your professor directly.
  • If you have recently enrolled in the course, it may take up to 24 hours for it to appear on your Moodle dashboard.
  • An upcoming Fall/Winter term course has been created between April and the last week of July. In this case, the system will not display the upcoming term's course enrolments until the first week of August.
  • The professor does not use Moodle/eClass.

In some instances, the professor will have to add you manually. If your peers can see the course, but you cannot, please speak to the professor.
