SUMMARY:Virtual Drop-in International Student Advising
DESCRIPTION:Drop in to speak with our immigration specialists who can help answer your immigration-related questions.\nThis is a group advising session. To help you get the information that you need as quickly as possible, we suggest that you check out the following resources before attending a drop-in session:\n\nAre you unsure of how to complete a study permit extension application or post-graduation work permit application? Check York International's Immigration resources page ( https://www.yorku.ca/international/international-students/immigration/immigration-application-resources/ ) for step-by-step webinar slides and resources. Please also check this calendar for the next 'Study Permit Extension & PGWP Q&A" session (weekly virtual and in-person options available).\n\nIf you have carefully reviewed the resources above and still need to ask questions, please attend virtual drop-in advising.\nPlease use this zoom link ( https://yorku-phipa.zoom.us/j/96428313680?pwd=TxtTctUceua6L4dc5X96ZU39akcHEk.1 ) to access the meeting. We look forward to speaking with you soon!\nNOTE: The session begins promptly at 9 am and depending on volume, may reach capacity sooner than 11:30. In this case, the advisor will not be able to admit additional students and we ask that you attend the next available session.\nI need a 1:1 appointment, what should I do? If you feel you need a 1:1 appointment, please still attend virtual drop-in advising and an advisor can speak to you privately at the end or determine a separate time to speak with you.\n
