DESCRIPTION:***La version française suivra***\nThe University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) is the basic medical insurance plan for international students. If you have dependants in Canada, they may also be eligible for UHIP coverage. However, the following enrollment deadlines apply:\n\nFirst enrollment in UHIP: 30 days after your dependants’ arrival in Canada\nAnnual UHIP renewals (mandatory for all dependants): September 30th, 2024\n\nIn this webinar, we will explore the following topics:\n\nWhat dependants are eligible for UHIP?\nHow do I enroll them in UHIP and get my updated card?\nWhat expenses does UHIP cover for my dependants?\nWhat are the differences between UHIP and the YFS/YUGSA health and dental plans?\n\nAt the end of the session, participants will have the chance to ask questions in a large group setting. If you have issues completing our dependant enrollment/renewal form, please attend the in-person workshop event on Monday, September 23rd or 30th, 2024 on the YI Calendar.\n---\nLe régime d’assurance maladie universitaire (RAMU) est le régime d’assurance médicale de base pour les étudiants internationaux.
