A community of York University researchers who are committed to analyzing the changing historical and contemporary dynamics of societies in Asia, understanding Asia’s place in the world, and studying the experiences of Asian communities in Canada and around the globe.
East Asian Studies International Opportunities
York offers a rich and flexible program focusing on culture, cultural nuance, history and literature of East Asia through the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Professional Studies. Numerous exchange programs are available for students to travel to China, Japan, and South Korea to further their experiential learning.
