Overview
The York University Retirees' Association (YURA) Graduate Award was established in 2014. It will be awarded to full-time Master's students who demonstrate financial need and either a strong commitment to volunteerism in the community or active engagement in a student leadership role.
The YURA Graduate Award applications are available to eligible students in Faculties on the following rotational basis:
- In academic year 2023-2024, the award will be available to students enrolled in Business or Law.
- In academic year 2024-2025, the award will be available to students enrolled in the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design (AMPD), Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS), Glendon or Education.
- In academic year 2025-2026, the award will be available to students enrolled in the Faculties of Engineering, Environmental Studies, Health, or Science.
A new three-year cycle following the above rotational pattern will be set for 2026-27 and beyond.
