friend, Andrew's. The only problem is that he doesn't have the cash.
How far will he go to satisfy his insatiable urge for radio control
power? Who stands in his way? Can he live with himself after what he's
done?

Andrea Leaside is in her late 30's, and works part-time as a school
secretary. She cares for her two children, Evan and Julia, with the
help of her husband, David. On weekends Mrs. Leaside takes pottery
classes at the local art gallery, and keeps an eye out for interesting
news items about people in the community. She likes a well-kept house.
Susan Helyier is a real estate agent in her mid 30's, selling
expensive new homes to young couples who can't afford them. She has a
son named Andrew, whom she spoils every chance she gets. Her husband
is a man of prestige, and the two of them like to flaunt it together.
Susan tries to look half her age and, with the right lighting,
convinces herself that she does.
Bruce Helyier is an executive at Direct Capital, an investment firm.
He is relaxed but authoritative, in his mid-50's, and loves sports
cars and fine wine. Bruce owns a cabin in Northern Ontario where he
goes hunting with friends.
