Bob (40) is a boring, lonely, and anti-social employee who works at a telemarketing
agency that does surveys on tires. He has no direction in his life and is depressed all the
time. The job he has gives him a false sense of communication with others as well as a
creative means of escape – everyone’s life is more exciting than his.
One day, he gets randomly put through to Jenny (27), a lonely, depressed and very
stressed single mother of one, who sees this random phone call as an opportunity to vent
about her communication troubles with Jack (35), her boyfriend for the past 5 years. He
is a man who is hardly around for his wife and child and avoids dealing with any issue
like the plague.
Through this random phone call, these two strangers find a means of escape from their
lives and are able to come to self-revelations regarding the issues in their personal lives.
