Associate Professor Ali Abdul-Sater, in the School of Kinesiology and Health Science is co-lead on a new study published in the journal Environment International reporting chemicals released from tires can transform into complex mixtures in the atmosphere that may pose previously unrecognized risks to human respiratory health. Dr. Abdul-Sater has teamed up with researchers from Environment and Climate Change Canada at York University. For more information, see News@York article.
