Welcome Collaborative Student

Dear Collaborative Student,

On behalf of the faculty and staff in the School of Nursing in the Faculty of Health at York University, I am delighted to extend our warmest wishes of welcome to the York-Seneca-Georgian Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) program. While you will be spending your first two years (Year 1 and 2) at one of our partner sites (Georgian College or Seneca College), please be reminded that you have all the rights and privileges of a York University student. Here are some important things for you to note about your status at York.

The Collaborative BScN Program is a 4-year full-time program with no part-time option. This program is being discontinued. You can find an overview of the program below.

York University Transcript

Your studies in Year 1 and 2 of the program will be reflected on your York University transcript. Once successfully completed, Year 1 will be recorded on your York transcript as the course HH/NURS 1000 30.00 with a grade of pass (P). Similarly, once successfully completed, Year 2 will be reflected as HH/NURS 2000 30.00 with a grade of pass (P).

Note: You may not enroll in any courses at York University until you have successfully completed both HH/NURS 1000 30.00 and HH/NURS 2000 30.00, and until the grade of pass (P) has been reflected on the York transcript. Students continuing the program at the York campus must complete an online advising session prior to enrolling in any courses.

Your York student number allows you to create your Passport York account and obtain your YU Card.
