In this Concentration, you will critically assess and constructively develop psychological theories, methods, and practices in both global and local contexts.
You will explore psychology through both scientific and humanistic lenses, moving beyond the individual, the clinic, and the laboratory to examine its broader impact on communities and cultures. Drawing on fields like history, philosophy, political theory, science and technology studies, feminism, and literature, you will engage with the psychological humanities to explore psychosocial issues. The psychological humanities often take an explicit ethical stand and address processes and systems of injustice.
