Little campus, big heart! Glendon enthusiastically welcomes students who want to leave their mark on the society of the future, whether here or anywhere in the world. And we believe that, to make those ambitions a reality, every student deserves our attention.

Room Types and Residence Features

Traditional Single Room

The majority of rooms at Glendon are single occupancy. Single rooms are available in three sizes - small, regular, and large. Students in traditional single rooms live in a house within their residence and share a community bathroom with their housemates. Students in traditional single rooms also have access to a study space, game area, music room, lounge, and kitchenette (sink, water fill station, microwave).

A traditional single room includes:

  • Twin bed and mattress (linen not included)
  • Study desk with shelves
  • Closet or wardrobe
  • Dresser
  • Chair
  • Waste and recycling bin

Single rooms range between 110 sq ft and 180 sq ft. Students living in traditional single rooms must have a dining plan.

Traditional Double Room

A limited number of double rooms are available upon request. Students in traditional double rooms live in a house within their residence and share a community bathroom with their housemates. Students in traditional double rooms also have access to a study space, game area, music room, lounge, and kitchenette (sink, water fill station, microwave).

A traditional double room is shared with another student. The room includes the following per occupant:

  • Twin bed and mattress (linen not included)
  • Study desk with shelves
  • Closet or wardrobe
  • Dresser
  • Chair
  • Waste and recycling bin

Double rooms range between 220 sq ft and 250 sq ft. Students living in traditional double rooms must have a dining plan.

Semi-Private Room

Semi-private rooms are available in both residences and are typically assigned to returning students. Semi-private rooms provide a single occupancy room that has access to an in-suite bathroom shared with their suite-mate. Students living in semi-private rooms are responsible for cleaning their own bathroom. Students in semi-private rooms also have access to a study space, game area, music room, lounge, and shared kitchen.

Each semi-private room includes the following:

  • Twin bed and mattress (linen not included)
  • Study desk with shelves
  • Closet or wardrobe
  • Dresser
  • Chair
  • Waste and recycling bin
  • Access to a three-piece en-suite bathroom

Semi-private rooms range between 115 sq ft and 180 sq ft. Students living in semi-private rooms must have a dining plan and have access to the convenience/suite dining plan option.

Community Bathrooms

Students living in traditional rooms have access to community bathrooms. These modern and accessible bathrooms provide students access to a single-person bathroom space that is shared with other students in their house. Community bathrooms are located in close proximity to student rooms and are stocked and cleaned by housekeeping staff.

You must use your YUCard to open the residence's entrance doors and use your metal key to lock your residence room/suite door. Please see the Glendon Undergraduate Key Instructions for information on how to properly use your keys.
