Using
fMRI,
we
showed that human LIP, as in the monkey, updates remembered saccade
targets
in an eye-centered frame during eye movements. We are currently
using
our stimulation paradigms to further explore the frames of reference
used
by LIP to encode eye + head gaze shifts.
