Miller, John R

CURRENT RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Current research focuses on: (i) interpretation of vegetation spectral reflectance, including extraction of biochemical and canopy structure information from forest canopy reflectances, (ii) methodology development, with an emphasis on imaging spectrometry. This programme addresses basic research questions as well as questions of implementation strategies for recent imaging-spectrometer airborne sensor systems and evaluation of physical algorithms and models to retrieve canopy biophysical variables, particularly for vegetated terrains with applications to agriculture and forestry.
