Important dates in 2000 Competition
Problem received October 1, 1999. Brief due December 1, 1999. Competition Dates:
February 24 - 27, 2000. Preliminary rounds were the first two days and if you
made it to the quarterfinals and further it was on the following days.
Special features
The brief is written from the perspective of one party (there were three in
total, power company, State and environmental organization) but oral arguments
are presented for all three sides on all the issues. You must be able to argue
every point from all sides at the competition. The competition is held at Pace
Law School in New York City.
