SUMMARY:LA&PS Partnership Development Grant Information Session
DESCRIPTION:The Dean’s Office cordially invites you to the LA&PS annual information session on SSHRC Partnership Development Grants (PDG).\nPDGs provide support to teams/partnerships, led by a project director, to:\n\ndevelop research and/or related activities in the social sciences and humanities, including knowledge mobilization and the meaningful involvement of students and emerging scholars, by fostering new partnerships with existing and/or potential partners; or\ndesign and test new partnership approaches for research and/or related activities that may result in best practices or models that either can be adapted by others or have the potential to be scaled up to a regional, national or international level.\n\nMaximum value: $200,000\nDuration: 1-3 years\nDeadline: November 15, 2024\nThe session will feature an overview of the competition, guidance on strategies for developing competitive proposals, and a panel discussion with faculty members who have served on merit review committees and developed successful PDG applications.
