Fake News, Fact-Finding and the Future of Journalism

What is fake news? How does it spread? How do we distinguish fact from fake? Are social media to blame? This class addresses the fake news challenge and teaches students to be informed consumers of information. This means developing information literacy, and a stronger understanding of the platforms and politics involved in the communication of fake news and facts.
