Steve Gennaro is a critical theorist whose work explores the intersections of children\u2019s rights, digital culture, and media literacy. His research focuses on how young people navigate virtual spaces and how technology shapes identity, agency, and civic participation. He teaches courses on Youth, Technology, and Digital Citizenship.
Dr. Gennaro is the author of four books, including Play as Resistance (forthcoming 2025), which reimagines play through a rights-based lens in the digital age. His publications span topics such as digital activism, the political economy of childhood, critical media education, and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child<\/p>\n\n\n\n
