Approaches to French Literature: An Introduction
Focusing on literary methodology, students learn analytical and expository techniques appropriate for examining the quality and context of literary works. Various genres in French literature as well as the literature of the French-speaking world are examined.
Prerequisites: AP/FR 1080 6.00 (with a minimum grade of C), or AP/FR 1081 3.00 with a minimum grade of C and AP/FR 1082 3.00 with a minimum grade of C, or through language placement test, or with departmental permission.
