French Semantics and Lexicology
This course focuses on French vocabulary, its structure and functions and lexical meaning in discourse. Topics include: analysis of words and their frequency, semantic fields, study of dictionaries, word derivation and composition.
Prerequisites: AP/FR 2100 6.00 (with a minimum grade of C).
