Reason and Passion in 18th Century France

Through a study of selected works of narrative prose (fiction, essays, pamphlets), students will explore the competing themes of reason and passion during the Age of Enlightenment. 

Prerequisites: AP/FR 2200 6.00 (with a minimum grade of C).
