19th Century French Literature: The Romantic Hero
This course explores the development of the Romantic movement in France in the first part of the 19th century, as well as the creation of new literary forms which embodied various themes including le mal du siècle and the quest for heroism.
Prerequisites: AP/FR 2200 6.00 (with a minimum grade of C).
