I am happy to report that, unsurprisingly, our colleague Carolyn Podruchny has been confirmed in her promotion to Full Professor.  In her letter to Carolyn, President Lenton noted:

You have a well-established and impressive research record that has earned you a national and international reputation in Canadian history and the history of its various peoples.  External reviewers are eloquent in their appreciation of the breadth and quality of your influential original work.  You have made significant contributions to curriculum and teaching, notably applying the Truth and Reconciliation Commission recommendations in your classes.  Your receipt of the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching confirms the students’ praise of your real and virtual teaching as well as supportive supervision and mentorship.  Colleagues respect both your collegial service and your work linking York with indigenous community organizations and supporting indigenous research at York.
