ANNOUNCEMENT: Congratulations to Ranfateh Chattha, Winner of the 3000 Level LA & PS Writing Prize

Congratulations to York student Ranfateh Chattha, who won the prize for the Best Paper at the 3000-level in the LA&PS Writing Prize competition for 2018-19. It was awarded for the paper “State Management and Private Enterprise in the Grain Supply of Ancient Rome” that Ranfateh wrote for CLST/HIST 3140 3.0, The City in the Roman World, taught by Professor Ben Kelly in Fall Term 2018. The prize was presented at a special reception held this on 27 November 2019.
