Techno-Science and Popular Culture

This course examines how science and technology are presented to a popular audience through many different forms of media. Our hopes and fears about contemporary techno-science, and how it is changing us and our culture, are explored through movies, plays, television programs, exhibitions and museums, popular science, and science fiction literature in the twentieth and twenty-first century.
