School of Human Resource Management professor Len Karakowsky, and PhD candidate Marlee E. Mercer, have written an article in The Conversation about abusive and toxic bosses in the workplace. The article explains that it is common for individuals to have at least one abusive boss in their career, but often the abuse is overlooked due to factors like the influence and workplace culture. Organizations must create a workplace culture where employees feel respected and safe voicing their opinions.
