Starting on Oct. 8, the Connections series returns bringing students and alumni together for fast-paced, career-focused conversations.
Students from the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) who are looking to explore career paths, gain insider insight, and expand their professional networks will have a unique opportunity this fall as a series of networking events brings them face-to-face with York alumni from a wide range of industries. Designed to spark meaningful conversations, the events offer a dynamic setting for students to ask questions, make connections and hear firsthand what life is like after graduation.
“Attending the Connections events was a meaningful experience for me,” shares Rubaljeet Kaur, accounting student at LA&PS. “It gave me a unique opportunity to connect with York alumni from diverse professional backgrounds and hear their journeys beyond graduation. The event also helped me sharpen my communication skills and boost my confidence in professional settings. I’m grateful for the chance to be part of such a supportive and engaging community."
