Three York students have been randomly selected to receive free first-year tuition. Since 2017, York has awarded one student each year with free first-year tuition, and this year for the first time, three students from across the Keele, Glendon and Markham campuses received the prize.
Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies student Emily Eaves is one of the lucky winners. Emily is choosing to pursue a career as a speech therapist and chose York because it is one of the few Ontario schools that offers a program in speech language science. Her first-year studies will include a mix of courses in linguistics and history.
Congratulations to this year’s recipients.
