Six York University alumni will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the 2025 Alumni Awards, which recognize graduates whose work reflects York’s commitment to innovation and equity. This year, one alum and one former faculty member of the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies will be among the honourees.
Vicky and Bob Drummond received the award for outstanding contribution. Robert, a Glendon alumnus and retired LA&PS faculty member, earned his BA in 1967, while Vicky, an LA&PS alumna, completed her MA in 1976. The outstanding contribution award recognizes a York graduate who has made a significant impact on the university and its students through exceptional service, commitment and philanthropic support.
