Faculty and graduate students in the Department of Sociology are invited to a book launch featuring the co-authored work of Professor Carl E. James, The Story of a Generation - Life Course Pathways of the Class of '73. The event will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 3-5 p.m. in the Schulich Executive Dining Room, Schulich School of Business.
Based on nearly 50 years of research, this landmark book offers rare insights into how social change, work, family and identity have shaped the lives of a Canadian generation over time. It reflects on how societies transform and how people adapt along the way. For anyone interested in sociology, history, or the human experience, this book provides an intimate look at the passage of time – and the stories we leave behind.
