S. Harris Ali, a professor in the Department of Sociology at York University, has co-written an article for The Conversation with Sibo Chen, Associate Professor in the School of Professional Communication at Toronto Metropolitan University. His studies focus on the social, political and environmental dimensions of disease outbreaks and environmental disasters. He has conducted studies on infectious disease outbreaks around the world.
